This jelly is similar texture-wise to the petroleum based jelly many of us use in a variety of ways including as a moisturizer for our skin and lips, as a barrier between sensitive,irritated skin and bandages or diapers, as well as others but without the petroleum based additives.

There are only three ingredients in our version: beeswax, olive oil and castor oil. While we don't add any essential oils, the non-petroleum jelly has a subtle sweet smell from the unrefined beeswax.
